Make sure you go and see a Travel Doctor and not your local GP, they weigh up the risks etc... I wouldn't bother with the Malaria Tablets there are so many different strains etc just take the precautions with your clothing and always wearing a good brand of mossie repellant.. I recently got Typhoid, Hep A + B and Tetanus Booster at a Travel Doctor for $270 of which I got back $30 from Medicare... GP was trying to charge me $800 mark with every injection under the sun.
