Hi Sammylou,
No when I booked, I initially tried for an ambasador room- nl available, Desi at the KP then offered the interconnecting in the new wing - we were more than happy!!!
(Let me tell u though it was stressful reading about the renovations not being nearly ready -days before we left(my husband saying oh great we will get there and not have a place to stay)
So I emailed Desi telling her what I was hearing and asked could she confirm where it was at........and she replied saying
"Dear Ms Sue
Don't worry the room will be ready.
Thank you and regards
Desi"
FANTASTIC.

Re SafariPark -included in your entry fee was a free photo each person; my husband & I didnt have any and asked for ours to be 'used' with children - no problem; they are very generous with time and tried hard to please everybody without hurrying you each shoot was usually many photos- the staff were very good.
Park entry for over 12 yrs was $25 US dollars(cant remember conversion) each this also gives you 2 rides on Safari Tram/bus but because we were early on our own and they took as much time as we wanted we didnt need to go again - got great photos as they had carrots to hold out window!! zebras & other animals a metre away - unreal!!! As them to open window for better photos- we wre 3/4 of the way thru when they offered to do same!
Price also incl water park at back -great for children we enjoyed sitting at table with shade umbrella with a cool drink.
You pay xtra for ponyride-20,000rp each
camelride-20,000rp each
Elephant trail 100,000rp each _ENJOYED THIS
If you want extra photo sessions it is 20,000rp-for unlimited but we didnt need to!
IT was SO GOOD,
Sue
