Well this will no doubt cause comment as I know there are many on the forums who love this place. However in 15 nights of different resturants we had our absolute worst meal at Bali Aussie and I would never step foot in the place again !!
The service was dismal to the point of almost non-existant, the few staff that were there stood around the bar not taking orders as they were waiting for the food to finish cooking as it was running over and hour late they told us. Now thats an issue in itself when youve got hungry kids in tow and they do not like waiting.
Every plate I got and others around me I noticed were chipped/ cracked / broken in some way. The tables were grotty - I felt like getting my detol hand wash out and giving them a once over !!
The toilets were an absolute disgrace, dirty smelly and graffitti all over every available surface with some quite offensive language, so not the place to go with kids. My youngest got locked into the mens toilet and we couldnt get the door open for ages so I know that the mens toilets were disgusting as well.
For all that, did the food make up for it in the end - no average to below if at all !!
At 90,000 per head stay away or try Garden view cottages.
