We stayed for a month back then at less than $1 a night with sweet tea and bananas for breakfast. It was south of where Champlung Mas is now. We walked through rice paddies to get to the beach.
Yes, sure I had a great time - especially the beers and company at Bruno's Bar in front of LBH around sunset.
I just stayed local this time - a real chill out. The surf at Legian had some nice shape.
I lost 2kg by just going surfing 2 or 3 times everday and long walks along the beach etc.
The Wall sounds like a place to see and home via Bali - what a way to go!
