The only other alternative is the first floor ( one filght of stairs ) above the restaurant side. Balcony gets shade and overlooks the pool view wise - so quieter. Alot of the Super deluxe rooms are quite close to the pool and bar and on ground floor - so if your youngster is real mobile could be a headache. As you know no pool fencing.
