We stayed at Kartika last September with our 13yo daughter and we all loved it. The location is fantastic, being right next to the discovery shopping centre was a huge plus and waterbom and lots of family restaurants are close by. The breakfast is excellent with lots of variety. Whilst staying there we walked through Kuta Paradiso where we confimed our flights with Garuda. It also looks lovely but I feel that the pool at Kartika is nicer and much larger. You also get direct beach access at Kartika which you don't at the Paradiso. I'm sure you'd be happy at either of these properties though, we love the Tuban end and there are so many new restaurants popping up all the time.
