Recently interviews were conducted by phone.
Last year (and years before)interviews were also conducted in Bali every couple of months or so.
The option was also given whether you wanted Jakarta or Bali for the interview.
The Medical can be done as soon as you are given a file number and can be done before or after the interview.
The medical results are sent to Australia.
No decisions however will be made until all evidence is in.
Requirements and ways of doing things change all the time.
The best way is to keep in touch with Immigration as everyone has a different experience/story/variation to tell.
