Spent another day with Sourcing Bali trying to find some furniture, its not cheap enogh to resell, i think we need to do more research next time and maybe try Jakarta? Anyone knows Id be glad to hear from them.
Made Jiwa once again takes us on another adventure up to Ubud. Well to say I was in awe was an understatement, the scenery I could look at all day. He took us to a traditional dance first up, not what i expected. Like the women dancing but Im sure they have better ones around.
We then headed to Bali Bird Park. Well Im no Bird person normally but this was lovely, these people love their birds. The place was spotless the ppl were lovely and the birds were breathtaking. One highlight for me was the Macaws. They did a Birds of Prey show which is out overlooking the rice fields. I had a moment where I just about shed a tear it was so magical. Sounds corny I know and Im no softy but to see these magical birds let fly out over the fields was magical to watch and i highly recommend you all go and see it.
We them went to Monkey whatchamacall it road for a touch of shopping. I really like those markets up the top, some very cheap jewellery and a lot more relaxing than Kuta.We had lunch at (looking at the card) I cant tell if its Hu Rai or Ibu Rai. Was lovely anyway. I then had my first touch of a Bali Massage (I hate massages) Some place heading down on the left started with an M i think. I ducked in for a facial. Well it was great and i fell asleep and I snored. Yeah I did it tough. :OP
Bought two beautiful glass tile dishes across from the Soccer field for 100,000 they were beautiful and they packed them well.
I wish now we had have stayed in Ubud for a few days but due to commitments with Sourcing Bali it wasnt logistically doable.
