I stayed at Komaneka in March and loved it. Didn't even notice Kajane across the road. We're thinking a 2 bedroom villa at Kajane. Did you have to pay 50% to make the booking?
There are some fantastic restaurants in Ubud to try. 3 Monkeys just down the road is beautiful and has 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails 5 til 7 I think it is.
