Can't help with Medewi, but on Nusa Lembongan try Bungalo 7 http://www.bungalo-no7.com/accommodation-oka.htm - I stayed there in September last year. I went as part of a surf camp package, so I don't know exactly how much it costs, but I think you can get rooms for around 50,000 per night.
I only surfed Playgrounds (the first time I had ever surfed reef) and it was perfect. I'm not into killer surf either! Hopefully the waves in June will be like they were last September, as I will be heading to Lembongan for a few days sometime in May or June as well...
