We were taken to an egg painting village somewhere on the way to Ubud. It was fixed price.
You could buy real eggs ranging from bantam eggs up to ostrich eggs.
I wasn't going to chance it through customs so I bought a wooden one (even then the lady at customs was very suspicious...she wanted to tap it on the bench but didn't want to break it...even though I assurred her it was wood!!)
Prices ranged from 50,000 to 100,000 which I paid for my large duck egg sized one. Didn't price the ostrich eggs! They were also priced according to the standard of the artist who painted them.
