You are certainly testing my NFI skills now .
1. How much could you expect to pay?.
1. Firstly all I can manage to sew is a hem and thats a pretty shonky effort. So I would feel very uncomfortable even giving you a rough estimate. Secondly I guess it would all depend on many things including the difficulty of the pattern/design, if any lining , if any beading etc etc.
2.Price on after 5's material or is it cheaper to take your own from home.
2. Prices vary depending on the fabric BUT they have 3-4 floors of materials and the variety is unbelievable - plenty of after 5 fabrics - MUCH cheaper than here at home. ( As I said I took mine this time because I purchased most of it for $2 metre)
3."was wondering how long it takes".
3.Again I can't confidently answer as it to depends on a number of things - the difficulty, the amount of work Komang has and if it has to be altered/adjusted a number of times.
4."do i need to organise it in the first week?".
4. I would as it's a pretty special outfit. I would come from Sanur to Alta Moda (if you know how much material you need) then drive to Komangs. That way she can measure and at least begin - when you get back to Legian you can have the first fitting.
She has made some beautiful evening garments . You can take a picture of what you want , she has lots of pattern books or you can describe it and she will draw it and confer with you- she is a cleaver lady.
I'm sorry I can't be too specific about prices but getting things made is a much cheaper option and you won't be disappointed.
Perhaps you may want to ring her when you get to Bali to make sure she will be at the shop if you decide to come from Sanur.
