We are leaving for Bali (from Aus)in a couple of days and local chemist recommended taking a preventative called Travelan - 1 tab before each meal - apparently neutralises E.coli and minor gastro disorders and so prevents bali belly developing in the first place. Have never used them before but will give them a go. Not sure if they are available in Holland or, if they are, what the marketing name would be.
