that the others in the enclosure were just as sleepy (although not in direct contact with humans of course). When we were there the lion cub got a bit snappy because of the heat that day, the trainer held him & they sat in front of a big fan for a while, then took him back to his enclosure. Personally I thought it worth the money just for the photo opportunities on the safari ride - outstanding.
