It is $15 US$ a kilo, they said they would discount it to $8.50 US$ per kilo. I was 14 kilos over and they said they would also discount the weight and only charged me for 5 kilos. We traveled Executive class.
I spoke to someone in the business class lounge and they were over 5 kilos and was offered this, If they used the business class lounge and paid 150,000rp they would be exempt from paying excess. They were also offered upgrade to executive for $150 AUS$ this was from Bali to Sydney.
