All the restaurants on the beach outside KP are good, actually really good.

On the street Warung Asia - turn to the left at the front gate and it is set back on your right. Not to be missed for the best Thai food ever and so cheap. OH that Pad Thai!!!

Keep walking from Warung Asia and turn left on Jln 66 and you will see Warung Asia for the best Indonesian food. Pick from the display or order from the menu.

If you go out of KP and turn right you will come to Warung Tropical good for lunch but if it's crowded service can be slow. Really nice staff and 30 minutes free internet at the internet cafe next door if you spend Rp.100.000.

Turn left at Jayakarta Hotel and you will soon find The Flying Piano for nice food and great atmosphere at night.

Opposite the Flying Piano is another restaurant the name of which I have forgotten but that was good too and also lovely staff.

For german style sausages (or Swiss maybe??) Yutz is excellent also I hear the best steak in Bali but I can't say from personal experience.

So as you can see you will be spoilt for choice!!! Oh and yes the restaurant at KP is very reasonably priced and well patronised by passers by as well as hotel guests.
