If you are using an Australian sim and it is on international roaming, YES even if you you don't answer and it rings you will still get a charge for the call even if not answered. As you have to pay for the diversion of the call, it is really expensive if you answer incoming or make outgoing calls on an Australian SIM. I take 1 and leave 1 at home and turn it off and put it in the safe I just check it each night or morning, check for any incoming messages and then turn it off ( we leave the kids at home, but once they have our Bali number they use this)

If you are using an Australian sim to message Bali numbers you will need to add +62 leave off the Zero, dial the rest of the number.

If you are using a Bali sim and messaging Australian numbers it will be +61 leave off the Zero then the rest of the number.

If using a Bali sim PRO XL there is some numbers you can put before the number to ring Australia really really cheap.

You will find lots of information on this in the archives. Do a search.

Sorry I gave my Bali sim card away free on this forum/posted it today.
