When we sit at Secret Garden Restaurant the regular little gang of girls come by usually followed by the regular gang of little boys and what do you do? Of course they don't get to keep the money so I buy them an icecream each from the fridge in the little convenience store in the restaurant. At least it goes in their stomach not a boss's wallet and yet even as I do it a little voice in my head says that I am encouraging them to go with tourists to get ice cream which is potentially not so good. I notice they always stick in a group and I guess they are pretty streetwise but the situation is still not good is it?
I wish there was a charity which would pay them (parents, bosses whoever) to go to school but only if they stay off the street.
