Their prices are most times cheaper than Jetstars standard fares and everything is included. From Sydney you arrive in Bali around 2.30pm instead of after 10pm. So you still have at least half a day extra In Bali.
And on a whole I just prefer Garuda. Although I must admit I have not flown Jetstar but my son has and he said never again unless he could get a cheap flight. But they seem to be quite rare.
I am going in June and Garuda is $1100 and Jetstar $1169(that price with cabin luggage only) Go figure it is supposed to be acheap no frills airline.
For me it will always be Garuda. Never had a problem and they are really good with kids.
