We had our vow renewal in 2005 by Bali Commitments. Much was organised by email before we arrived in Bali. We organised our venue, (Villa Puri Nirwana, Cucukan) and food (Annie, Sanur Deli). For a small extra fee, the owner (of the villa) organised a huge local traditional band and a group of about a dozen young Balinese dancers. Once the music began, hordes of locals slipped in the side gate and sat quietly an d watched the occassion( then just slipped quietly out again). There is nothing about this day that I cold improve upon. We were given a choice of words to say, we had a lovely Balinese gentleman read the service and a great party after. What did I like the best? Standing in front of all my friends and family ( who had come to Bali under the pretence of my husbands 50th Birthday party) with not a dry eye in the house, to show how much love can do.
