I have a 4 & 6 year old and the last 2 times we have been to Bali I have packed 1 suitcase with donations (I actually have had so much clothing that I put them in the vacuum storage bags as I can fit more in the suitcase) and then pack another suitcase with our clothing, toiletries etc. I buy a couple of the cheap stripey bags and when we get to Bali transfer the donation clothes into these bags and then we have a large suitcase to fill with shopping for the return trip :)
I also pack crayola texta's for my kids as I know they wash out of clothes. The 1st time my 4 yo went to Bali she was nearly 2 and I bought some Texta's when we got to Bali and most of her clothes came home with huge texta stains on them that no amount of soaking would get out.
