I guess this conversations has gone far away from it's point..

Dearest all people (in the world)...

Let me explain it to all of you,

first: I admit that Indonesia is a country with a complicated law systems which often confused it's own people or even foreigner. In Indonesia, we called it "birocracy"...

second: I was only tried to remind Cathy not to take too many goods as she said she wanted to bring some clothes and books for charity to the Balinese, so that she wouldn't had to have a problem with the local customs, and I think it's not wrong to remind someone for goodness.

third: the Indonesian Law doesn't allow the importation of used clothes without any permission from our Department of Industry, Department of Customs and Excise, and you have to get a announcement letter from our embassy in your country that you are really going to donate the goods and not for any other purpose. In fact, you should need another letter from any charity organization that you belong to, which explain that those goods are really for donation and not for commercial purpose. (and this is why I should tell you the first point, it is called "the birocracy").

And now let me try to explain you another things:

I am really thankful and fully appreciate that you guys have been so kind for giving us charity and donation that we need, it is very very useful. but on the other side, I am an Indonesian officer and I'm just doing my job.. If I was the rule maker, I won't make that stupid rule also..

I hope U understand me...

Thank's.
