cost and time spent doing a root canal therapy depends on the tooth being treated. i.e. front or side, single root takes less time and costs less than large back tooth with 2/3/4 roots, broken tooth etc. Make sense? If you have an infection in the tooth/root it will be a lot less painful to treat if you manage to get a course of antibiotics before treatment.(But once pain has gone don't assume problem is over and gone!) Once nerve is dead, treatment is pretty painless.
My ex, a dentist used to price and give appt. times depending on which tooth and state of it at the time.
BTW I have booked in to see DR Rudy with my new partner, partner's daughter and partner for our upcoming trip to Bali(new wifey doesn't like ex looking in my mouth!!!)
