I don't know about "plenty of interesting walks' but the couple of walks we went on in the immediate vicinity of Villa Cepik were fairly interesting, and it's certainly a beautiful place to be.
The owners have a young son who happily played ps2 games with my son. Lovely family (We took the ps2 with us to Bali to get a new chip)
If i stayed again i'd definitely hire a car/driver for most days to have a good look at all the areas nearby.
And EdBob is right, Ida is the best cook in Bali. With a little bit of notice she is happy to add to the menu if you have fussy eaters.
