Boy were you lucky to get away with 50,000rp for all that luggage. On our last trip we had two small bags and offered 50,000rp and was told they wanted A$, we told them we only had A$20s or A$50s and they said they wanted A$20. No way. They then refused to take the 50,000rp and after much swearing at us walked away with nothing. They wanted the A$!!! Next trip - no porters or we will have a A$5 note handy.
