I'm with Filo and Clovis (and the others who agreed). A mobile (even a second-hand one) is of great use to someone who can't afford the 350,000Rp to buy a new one. I think it was Clovis who said "put a Sim card with $5 credit on it in the phone". What a great idea!
I handed out a few old phones a couple of years ago, and they were very much appreciated.
