Suggest you look at the Darwin Airport Website. If no direct info on lockers etc. ( idontrecall seeing any ) Baggage area maybe ?, the Website may have a contact no you can ring.
Getting around Darwin can be expensive - have you priced hiring a car for the day? Can store your luggage in the boot that way.
Be aware most hires usually have a limited Km rate.Good price for fares.
