I stayed there by myself last year and can say the hotel is quite good. It has 2 pools, the rear pool with swim up bar is open 24 hours so I reckon that I will book a room near the rear pool in November this year. Breakfast is fine and is served at the restaraunt near the rear pool also. I don't think there is any english tv channels but there are in house movies. You can request them to play one of your own dvd's if you wish. Rooms have aircon, phone, minibar and room service, robe and a desk.
Safety deposit boxes are available at the reception.
The front rooms are quite noisy from street traffic, mainly motorbikes. Overall it is good value for money and clean.
Being half way down Poppies 2, it is quite central to everywhere.
A good moneychanger is not far from there, in a tailor shop near the corner of a street that goes down the side of Pub Bagus. There is also Circle K 24 hour convenience store and chemist nearby.
