I am so disappointed that people think it is acceptable to support a place like the Bali Safari Park. It is not about education, it is not about conservation , it is about exploiting wildlife for money. There are rehabilitation centres in Indonesia for orphan orangutans that give them some sort of chance at a normal organutan life, thats where she should be. Being passed around for photos is not normal. Why is a lion cub available for photos ? why is he not with his mother? the emotional damage done by this life is terrible because guess what, the animals don't enjoy it, but as long as humans want their selfish whims satisfied and the market for this sort of thing is there......baby and exotic animals will continue to be abused in this way to provide for the tourists.
Does anyone stop and wonder why we don't have such things in AUstralia ? because we have animal rights law and it wouldn't be allowed.
