As you drive thru Ubud, on Jl Raya Ubud, you pass the palace on the left hand side, market on your right. At the end, where there is a huge monument you turn left on to Jl Raya Andong which has hundreds of shops selling many different products, up thru the Tegallalang area. You can drive about 5 km up the hill with shops on either side. Some products are seen down south, other items are unique and you wont find anywhere else. In general you dont bargain, the prices are 'wholesale' prices and low enough. You can buy furniture, bowls, jewellery, flags, many wooden animals, homewares, not so much in the line of clothing.
I think the animals we bought would be available in a week.
Some shops required orders in bulk, but the majority of shops will sell as you select.
