I rang two weeks ago to ask about booking excess and yes we could do it from denpasar to syd. But we had bought our own ongoing flights to Brissy and she said that we would probably be charged again on the on going leg ( last year this part of our journey was included in the fare so would have been OK!) so decided not to chance it. I also asked her about ringing from Bali on departure (or at least when you realised you are going to be overweight!!) and she said yes this can be done! I think you just ring until you get someone that swings it your way!!! Deb
