John Hardy - Yes, I booked ahead with them by a few months and was offered a couple of dates. I got a location map, but the driver knew where it was.
I don't think that they'd accept a large group as they give you individual attention in the showroom to help you select what you are interested in or what else they have that's not on display. There just aren't that many "sales" ladies to go around. Discuss we them. Maybe break it up into two days? People should only go if they are really interested in buying.
Our plane going there from TO to HK (20 hours on the same plane--sigh) had no power in four rows. Guess where we were sitting. Heard same complaint from others that flew a few days later. Had to stop in Anchorage because the direct to HK flight gets in at 1pm and the flight to Bali leaves at 10am. This way takes a few hours longer but saves the stopover in HK for us. (Stayed in HK for three nights on return so was able to take the direct HK to TO flight). Sounds like you have the same problem only with Singapore.
Also their choice on movies and the whole video system just seem outdated. I think it was an old plane. They brag about their updated seating, but it wasn't evident on any of our flights at all. Just remember Singapore as being much better. So will fly them the next time if I have a choice.
Re Baik Bali. We were the only ones that day so we had the big truck and the sag wagon and guide all to ourselves. Probably first time the had a serious injury like that. Pretty hard to do as the roads are all flat. Must of hit a pothole or something....
