Hi there, I went parasailing off Tanjung Benoa a few years ago and signed a disclaimer. Basically if you do suffer serious injury or death, the monetary reimbursement is basically bug*er all. I never had a problem with signing the disclaimer and nor did I have a problem with signing the White Water Rafting companies disclaimer. The other thing I would seriously consider is a no alcohol policy when you are partaking in such activities because the insurance companies will not cover you if you have an accident whilst under the influence so to speak - and when I say that, I mean even if you only had 1 drink. As for whether or not it is safe...well I dont think they have a worksafe over there...
