I posted a 20kg box of stuff from the Post Office outside the Bintang Supermarket in Seminyak and it took just under 4 months by sea.
It cost about $50 and they helped me pack it.
I sent no wood or food, shell etc and did a customs declaration to that effect.
Customs here had opened the box and a leaflet was inserted into the box saying they had inspected and that nothing had been confiscated.
I had nearly given up on it when it arrived but there was nothing in the box that I couldn't live without.
Was a pleasant surprise when it arrived and was a cheap way to get excess baggage home.
cheers,
Ann
