Hi, last time we got an early morning flight from Perth at around this time, we got there just over 2 hours early and there was no-one at the airport (and I mean no-one) there other than a guy cleaning the floor. We stood at the front of what we hoped would be the check-in desk and waited a while for the check-in staff to arrive. We checked in and then went upstairs to find that all the cafes were closed.
Personally I wouldn't worry about getting there any earlier than 2 hours before.
