Last month I booked a flight back to Australia in Bali and flew back a few hours later.
I waved an e-ticket for a flight in two weeks time to the security guards at the International Departures and got inside. There was no Jetstar office but there is a small Garuda Booth where I was quoted $US563 for a one way flight back to Sydney that afternoon as their cheapest fare.
Instead, I went to an Internet Cafe in Kuta and booked a Jetstar flight for $A495.53 for that night.
When I got back to Australia I moved the date of the unused ticket to January 2009.
