We checked out the White Rose three weeks ago as our friend who are going to Bali with us in august wanted us to check other hotels other than the matahari bungalows where we were staying.The manager of the whit Rose gave us a tour and of course we were coparing it to the Matahari Bungalows which is about one third cheaper than the White Rose so here goes our report.To get to the hotel you walk down a narrow scruffy alley I imagined it would not be the safest place at night. The pool area was not apatch on The matahari did not even have a swim up bar.The rooms were O.K.but nothing to rave about but I did notice the balconys were tiny and would be a problem If four people wanted to sit outside for a chit chat and a few drinks.Overall the place had a rundown appearance and in my opinion was not worth anything close to $120 per night per room .This may explain why the place appeared deserted . no kidding we did not see one cutomer in the 30 min we were there and it was 11a.m .sorry about the two or three spelling mistakes but I am getting better on the keyboard E>O>M>
