I stayed at Troppozone for some of my trip last August and will probably spend some time there during my trip this August.
The rooms are very basic but cheap. I spend very little time in my room so it didn't worry me. The staff at Troppozone were excellent. I got ill and had to go to hospital and the staff were fantastic. They really looked after me and Grumpy even came and spent some time sitting with me. Once I was discharged the staff always made sure I was ok.
There wasn't really many people staying there while I was there but those who were there all became very good friends and we had a great time. The bar becomes a party atmosphere in the evenings prior to everyone heading off to the clubs.
