Y block is near the front (not beach end)they were doing building works at the back of the room, the room faces the pool and the back to the street, I did stay on the side where the new building and pool are being built, there was a bit of noise but finished late afternoon, It didnt worry us and couldnt hear it at the pool. I never heard anyone complain they all looked happy around the pool. My daughter 32 never mentioned the building noise Unless you are fanatic about noise... then enjoy your holiday cheers
