Hi, yes it is 2.25 but actually it is 2 X 1.125 lts max allowance, and yes you have to declare it, if you take in a 100 ml bottle extra and they see it you will pay the duty on the whole lot, but dont worry about duty on electronic goods like DVD VCD CD players and the like as the duty "tax" is only 5% and thats on what you paid for it, so its nothing.The allowance now of $900 AU for goods is very good considering that you can bring in ALL personal clothing And Footwear and cosmetics perfume of a "personal ' nature completely free of the $900 allowance..Doug5369
