We have done both the Ayung and the Telaga Waja. definitely the T W is much better, there are a few more rapids,the scenery is magnificent,the river is much cleaner than the Ayung and the rock carvings along the way are worth taking pics of.We always book at one of the tourist stalls on the streets of Kuta.Last sept we paid $120 for 4 kids myself and hubby.The guide carried my little one up & down the steps.The food is always nice too at the end of your trip over looking the beautiful green hillside.If you dont want to do the one with the drop,just ask as they can start and finish at different points of the river.It's lots of fun and the guides are always keen for a bit of joking around.Hope this answers your questions.
