Kitesurfing is not big in Bali although you can get lessons around Sanur.At the time you are there Sanur will be onshore so you can have safe lessons on that side of Bali You may have seen mag articles of guys kiting indo reefs which are usually in Sumbawa. I have seen guys kiting off Seminyak beach (lot of euro travellers). The winds for the dry season now is offshore for the kuta stretch but you will an afternoon side / on shore wind which is ideal for kiting along the entire kuta - leagian and beyond. July -aug is the windiest time of the year and I intend to take advantage of all this with a bit more experiance under my belt.
