Dennis I cannot understand what is going on with you. A young fellah out of Adelaide...for a while there you were broadcasting the merits of going with Singapore Airlines to anyone who would listen. A direct flight, you said. Less than 90 minutes in transit, you said. Delivered back home to your Adelaide front door, you said. Outstanding value for money, you said. Barely more than the so-called budget fliers, you said. No more stinkjet for me, you said! And yet, once again, we see you bleeding like a stuck cow because the people at stinkyjet have stiffed you with cancellations and lousy connections. Wait till the baggage nazi gets on to you...then we'll really hear about it! How many times do I have to remind you young man...cheapest ain't always cheapest. Just to really annoy you, let me tell you that after much hand-wringing and shifting of projects to create some space for myself, at 4:30pm today I decided to get my butt to Bali for 7 days R&R. A coup of emails is all it took to arrange accommodation and flights. I'm going Saturday at 1:05pm and I'll lay you London to a brick the flight times won't change. And who am I travelling with? Singapore airlines of course. I may not get there at the good Garuda friendly time of 3:30pm but I'm pretty confident that at the advertised arrival time of 9:30pm, I'll be strolling down to the yellow line at Immigrassi! And whatever the difference was in airfares that I paid compared to you, I'm pretty happy with the thought that paying a bit more got me a whole lot more service and reliability! Do yourself a favour Den and do the SAI thing in future...no more of this silly pain in the ringo starr stinkyjet thing; it's not good for your heart old boy! Cheers - kevin
