We were among the first customers at TJs back in the mid 80s. The American lady part owner was a friend of a friend. Lots of wonderful memories.

I went back recently, after a very long break & found the food & margaritas as wonderful as ever. Admittedly the menu is greatly reduced. I was amazed that there were so many of the original staff there who remembered me (I wear a distinctive boar's tusk necklace so I'm easy to remember). But they also remembered that we have a now almost 21yo son who used to sleep on 2 chairs put together when we all ate there.

But times change - I can't believe that the American owner would discount complaints. Bad day/night? TJs has always been a great place for food & ambience. Give it another try.

Un's is one of my 3 faves. Superb food, no question. Ketupat is my fave fave.
