Last time we flew via Sydney we had the same problem but we had the grandkids with us so we spent the day doing the tourist bit in Sydney. They had a ball and the 6.20 flight went from a pain in the butt to the start of another enjoyable holiday. As long as you end up in Bali what's a couple of hours, enjoy your holiday. Must admit we're flying via Melbourne this time ( Qantas - Adelaide to Melb) Just hope they don't do the same thing on this trip.
