6roxyj directly in front of Melasti Legian is a surf board hire setup owned by Su Yip No. He's a good friend and will help your daughter learn to surf on a suitable board. He will keep her safe and I think his coaghing would be quite adequate for a 6 yr old. If you want more formal lessons and more expensive, there is a rip curl set up further down the beach in front of the Blue Ocean Rest.
