I have heard Bali described as an addiction and that the regular travellers go back time and again ...for their FIX!! Have decided have to agree with this explanation!! After living in 4 other countries and travelling to a few other countries as well, we have lost count of the no. of trips to Bali. It constantly amazes me how the balinese manage to marry up our western calendar of 2008 and their bali calendar of 1930!! I am fascinated by how they keep their 1,000 yr+ old culture and religion so strong in the face of westernisation!! The next trip is always a great motivator to go off to work each day and then work extra hours!!!
