I got upgraded to a Tropical Terrace room when I complained and the same for the next upgrade to the beachside cabana. They tried to charge me but once again I was having none of that and said that the 2 nights that I wasn't staying would have to take care of that. After much argument again they agreed. Actually it had been stay 5, pay 3 through the wholesaler, but I still had 2 pay for those nights in another hotel. Wasn't the bathroom in the Tropical Terrace a bit strange with the placement of the bath, having to walk around it all the time? Did you try the water spray in the toilet? Forgot to agree with you about the toaster, though I think I put the bread through 3 times. So pleased to get some brown bread, except for the Griya Santrian, no other hotel has brown bread. The other thing I found was that the staff didn't know how to clear tables, especially at breakfast. Being on my own I preferred a table for 2, found many empty ones but they still had the dirty plates etc on them and then trying to get a cup of tea. I won't go in to the problems at the cabana but I will say that their engineering department did come quickly to fix any problems. By this time all I could do was laugh.
