Hi Susanne, I too had reservations for same reasons as you. This will be our first time to bali and the tragic events that have occured there over the last few years have left me having no desire to travel there. That was until my sister, a seasonal bali traveller, put me onto this forum. For an indecisive worry wort,and A mother with 2 small children my mind was very quickly and easily swayed and am very much looking forward to our family holiday there - travel warnings no longer on my mind. The forum has been a huge huge source of information for me- so much so that i feel as though i have already been!!!!!
Now I cant wait to get there and see for myself why so many of you call it your other home.
this may or may not help, but your question being is it safe?? no one can answer that and I certainly am not going to sit around waiting for someone to tell me it is!!!! GOOD LUCK.
