its possible to stay right on a beautiful beach without it costing a fortune, the food's great and the people you meet are generally very warm and welcoming. It is also very different [but not uncomortably so]from home and the phone doesn't ring. I continue to go to Bali for an easy holiday not for the hard work of travelling.
